Rumor has it that the puppy''s corpse fed a gang of Afghan street urchins for two nights.
I personally believe that the puppy was dead to begin with, something about it's head not moving and the general lack of ANY movement by it's body gives me that vibe. The story goes that they had found the litter abandoned and were squeezing a live puppy's paw to make it yelp. Still poor humor, jarheads.

I do love dogs (have 4, 3 of which I have had from day 1) so I am more angry about it being a puppy. But I am also a hunter and have no remorse about killing a deer/duck/bear/ect. If it was an other small animal I would be like, eh whatever, cause I do not have that whole "everything has the right to live" idea cause I know the entire world is RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed up beyond repair. I just happen to be extremely lucky. Also I have a cousin that is in the marines and I really straightend his life out. He isnt on a combat post though, I have seen people before/after combat and In order to go out and kill other people they are really just brainwashed. I think that war really accomplishes as much as it destroys, yet i am not against any of the soldiers or really know that it is needed in most cases. Sure they don't have WMDs, I think everyone knows/knew this but if they did I would sure as hell glad my ass is saved. I am a hypocritical, uncaring ass and fully realize that. Most people are. That is basically my random thoughts on the topic.

if the puppy was dead, its front and back paws would not be able to "curl" up like they did in the video when it was being held on the neck by the bastard. thats a live puppy.

The puppy was clearly alive, you can hear it yelping in the video when it's thrown. You can hear the sound fade as the puppy gets farther away.

But really throwing a puppy down isn't funny. Even if it was a funny puppy

What if that man was your father? Which would you be more angry at?
Both are horrible, both are sad. Stop putting one life over another. Yes, the puppy being thrown off the cliff is sad. Yes it pissed me off, but so did the sicko who decapitated a man on a bus. The people who commited both of these acts are sick, just on varying degrees. Animal cruelty is something I cannot stand by, and it's something I deal with every day.
What's worse, is people who only make a stink about it when it's in the media, otherwise they don't give a damn about everything that goes on around them every day. If you're so damned offended by it, actually do something about it instead of bitching on a forum.
Also, when a puppy is scruffed like it was in the video, they curl and "freeze' up. It's a mechanism that makes moving pups easier for the mother dog.
And Fishy, Animal Protection Officers/Cruelty Investigators don't arrest people, Police arrest people. APO's/ACI's just point their finger with evidence backing it. And 90% of the cases, the people get a smack on the hand, a fine, and maybe a few months in jail, THAT'S IT. The they just do what they did before.
